He began our business by building new homes. During the early 80s, Charlie recognized a need for a company specializing in restoring damaged homes. We have continued to repair such homes for over 25 years.

The estimating program we use is specifically designed for insurance related claims and gives a detailed listing of each item being repaired or replaced. The program is very similar, and in some cases the same program utilized by your insurance company, thus making a bid comparison less complicated and time consuming for the adjustor. Although in all cases our client is the owner, we understand the insurance companies' concerns with maintaining a control on costs. We work closely with adjustors to ensure the most cost effective means for repair are utilized without jeapordizing quality.

Mark Woodfin, Charlie's son, took over ownership and operations of the company upon Charlie's retirement in 2003. Mark graduated from Texas Tech University in 1984 with a degree in Construction Engineering Technology. Upon graduating, Mark was involved in commercial construction in the Dallas area for 12 years. In 1996, Mark and his family (Margaret, Sam & Conor) relocated to Lubbock to join C.D. Woodfin Construction.
